Slemani — Slemani’s non-oil revenues totaled more than 6.6 billion Iraqi dinars during the week of June 13–19, 2026, marking a decline of nearly 35% compared with the previous week, according to figures released by the Transparency (Shaffafiat) website.
The platform, which monitors and publishes non-oil revenue data for Slemani, Halabja, and the Raparin and Garmian administrations, reported total weekly revenue of 6,605,339,432 dinars. Approximately 91% of the revenue was collected in cash.
According to the report, cash revenues amounted to 5,985,426,182 dinars, while 619,913,250 dinars was received through checks, representing 9% of the total weekly income.
The figures show a significant decrease from the previous reporting period, when revenues reached 10,109,490,511 dinars between June 6 and June 12. Based on the comparison, weekly revenue fell by 34.662%.
The Transparency website publishes revenue data from all six treasuries in Slemani Governorate. The financial records cover 28 ministries and government boards, 109 general directorates, 516 directorates, 781 departments, and four administrative sections.
The Shaffafiat initiative was launched by the Kurdistan Regional Government on December 15, 2022, under the supervision of Kurdistan Region Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani. The project was introduced to increase transparency in public revenues and expenditures after three decades without a comprehensive public disclosure system, although it has yet to be fully implemented across all areas of the Kurdistan Region.
The weekly figures provide one of the most detailed public snapshots of government revenue collection in Slemani and are intended to promote greater financial transparency and public oversight of non-oil income.
